Anna university : One of The best technical universities in India



Anna University is  a Technical university in Tamilnadu standing in 6th position among the best universities of India.It was established in 1978 as a unitary type of university.It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and Applied Sciences.
In a short span of time the University has reached high standards in higher education to enjoy world-wide recognition in Engineering, Technology and Applied Sciences.It became an affiliating University in 2001 by absorbing about 250 engineering colleges in Tamilnadu. Between 2007 and 2010 it was splits in to 6 universities.But on August 2012 all those 6 universities merged back to Anna university and once again it become a single affiliating university for Engineering colleges all over Tamilnadu.

 UGC have accredited Anna university with five star in 2002 which is the highest in rating. Also the university accredited with A grade by NAAC.
