Mutta thoran / Egg stir fry

A tasty simple and tasty side dish for rice and chapathi.My hubby is a die hard fan of egg.He will be happy with even a simple omelette .
And now my three year old also started to imitate his Dad.He loves this stir fry very much.And if I'm serving roti with egg roast he will finish it soon

Ingredients :

  • Egg : 2
  • Onion chopped : 1/4 cup
  • Ginger chopped : 1/2 tspn
  • Green chilly chopped : 1
  • grated coconut : 1tblspn
  • Turmeric powder : 1/4 tspn
  • Salt

To temper  :

  • Mustard : 1/4 tspn
  • Curry leaves : 1spring
  • Oil

Method :

  • Heat apan with oil
  • Add mustard and curry leaves .
  • Now add chopped onion ginger and green chilly.
  • Saute it well till the onion become soft.Then add turmeric powder and salt

  •  Add grated coocnut and mix it well.
  • Crack the egg and mix it well.Check for salt.
  • Stir it continuosly for 2 minutes.

  • Yummy egg stir fry is ready to serve!

  3. Hi Remmy, this is one of the many wonderful things I love about Indian food. Taking an egg and blending with so much depth and dimension to create such spectacular flavor. I do plan on preparing this, I'm sure it will be a hit!
