Cherupayar puzhungiyathu / Boiled green gram


A healthy easy to prepare recipe! Green grams are rich in vitamin A,B,C and E.It is considered as a diet food due to low fat content.


Ingredients:

  • Greengram / cheru payar : 1 cup
  • Grated coconut : 1/2 cup
  • Salt

Method :

  • Wash and pressure cook green gram with salt(If you are soaking it overnight or 3-4 hours you can save your gas)
  • If there is any extra water drain it or cook until it get dried.
  • Add grated coconut and mix it well.
  • Serve it with banana and milk .
