Pachamulaku thenga chutney/coconut chutney with green chilly

         Again a chutney recipe.Easy to prepare one and a best combo for idly and dosa.



Pachamulaku thenga chutney/coconut chutney with green chilly


       


Ingredients:

To grind:

  • Coconut  : 1 cup
  • Shallots / kunjulli : 6 to 8
  • Ginger : 1/2" piece
  • Green chilly : 2
  • Salt

To temper:

  • Mustard / kaduku  :  1/4 tspn
  • Black gram / uzhunnu : 1/4 tspn
  • Dry red chilly : 2
  • Curry leaves : 2 spring
  • Oil 

Method:

  • Grind all the ingredients listed under "to grind" with little water to a smooth paste.
  • Heat the pan with oil.
  • Add mustard and let it splutter.
  • Now add black gram,dry red chilly and curry leaves.
  • Add coconut paste to it and mix well.
  • Yummy chutney is ready.Serve it with dosa or idly
