Again with a veg side dish.It will go well with rice or even with roti.
Ingredients :
Tomato : 2
Chana dal : 1/4 cup
Turnmeric powder : 1/2 tspn
Green chilly : 2
To grind :
- Grated cococnut : 3/4 cup
- Shallots / small onion : 4
- Cumin seed / jeera : 1/4 tspn
To temper :
- Mustard : 1/2 tspn
- Dry red chilly : 2
- Curry leaves : few
- Oil
Method :
- Grind all the ingredients together listed under "to grind"
- Pressure cook both dal and tomato with green chilly,turmeric powder and salt.
