sakkarai pongal/Sweet pongal

                      sakkarai pongal/Sweet pongal

Pongal is a four day long harvest festival celebrating in Tamilnadu.

First day:Bhogi pongal:The old clothes and materials are thrown away and fired marking a new beginning
Second day:Pongal day:Celebrating with boiling the milk in the early morning and allowing it to boil over the vessel.
Third day:Mattu pongal:Thanks giving day to cows and buffaloes
Fourth day:Kanam pongal:This day is dedicated to God Sun.People decorates their houses with Kolam.

I love to eate sweet pongal.I dont like any sweets except this one and palkovai.Rice and moongdal with jaggery, cardamom and ghee will make this dish more tasty.I prefer less sweetness you can add more.
