vermicelli pulao
This is my 50th post according to blogger.So I think it should be a simple recipe.vermicelli pulao is almost similar to vegetable pulao.It is an easy to prepare recipe.Whenever I'm feeling lazy to do anything I will make this easy pulao and my family will enjoy this dish.
Ingredients:
Vermicelli:2 cup
Chopped cabbage:1/2 cup
Carrot(chopped):1 medium
Onion(chopped):1 medium
BeansChoped):10
Green peas(cooked):2 tblspn
Ginger chopped:1 tspn
Garlic chopped:1 tspn
Green chilly chopped:1 tspn
Garam masala powder:1/2 tspn
Water
Salt
Oil
Method:
- Heat the pan with oil and fry the vermicelli till golden brown colour(if you are using roasted vermicelli skip this step)
- Add water to the pan.
- Cook the roasted vermicelli in water for 3 minutes with salt.(over cooking will make the vermicelli sticky)
- Drain the excess water and keep aside.
- Heat the pan with oil and add ginger, garlic and chopped vegetables.
- Fry it well.
- Add salt and garam masala powder
- Mix it with cooked vermicelli.
- Yummy pulao is ready..
Adding cabbage is a healthy option, pulao looks super yumm
